Today I screwed up. I will explain the problem and I hope someone will know what can I do to solve this. So today I wanted to reinstal Windows on my mac. Opened Boot Camp Assitant and clicked Remove Windows 7.
And computer was saying something that partition was being erased, so I freaked out and forced quit Boot Camp Asisstant while it was performing the operation. That was a mistake. The Bootcamp icon from destop was already gone and Boot Camp Assistant gave me only option to create now partition and instal Windows, even known old partition was not completely deleted (I know that because there was still the same amount of free space on the Macintosh HD). So I created new partition, computer restarted and started loading Windows files. However I was not able to instal Windows on that partition (I got an error). I turned OS X and opened Boot Camp Assistant again, but I got error when trying to delete that bad partition: The startup disk cannot be partitioned or restored to a single partion.

Back up the disk and use Disk Utility to format it as a single Mac OS Extended (Journaled) volume. Restore your information to the disk and try using Boot Camp Assistant again. So I did this. However, Boot Camp disk in Disk Utility turned gray and changed its name to disk0s4. And now when I try to format it again I get error: Volume Erase failed: MadiaKit reports not enough space on device for requested operation. What can I do now to fix problem, I need to format it to Mac OS Extended (Journaled).
Also it is not mounted and its not possible to mount it. Partition type 0xEE. Sorry for bad english and thanks in advance. Click to expand.Thank you for replay.
I finally decided to do this, but I encounter some problems. Right now my disk utility looks like this: Problem is disk0s4 used to be BOOTCAMP, I ruined it and I can't repair or erase it.
So let's say reformating whole hard drive will solve the problem, won't it? However, as you can see in the screeshot, Erase buttons are gray. Same in the partition tab: every button is gray. So I try to verify or repair disk.
I get same error when trying to verify or repair: When I go to Macintosh HD erase tab Erase button is also gray. I verified and repaired disk permissions, also verified it, and I get massege that it is OK, but the Erase button is still gray. The repair button is gray. How screwed up am I?
How can I reformat my HD? Thanks for help, guys.
